I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Chevette that clean and I was alive when they were new... props to your friend for keeping it alive!

I think the Chevette is a 78-79. Nice stripes.

Nice Chevette, I am old, humor me, what with all the reference to dots lately, googling didn’t really help me come up with anything that made a lot of sense in the context I am seeing it used on this forum. Is it slang for pixels, or the dots that make up an online image? I came up with that one on my own. Google thinks it is an elipse “...”
My best guess is I am wrong on both counts.

Down On The Street.
The idea is finding an vintage car that is well maintained and unrestored, that is still being used and driven (not a garage queen or museum piece).
It originally came from the Jalopnik front page as a series written by Murilee Martin.
